Welcome to The City of Perryville. The City was named after Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, who was a hero of the War of 1812. As of the 2000 Census, our population was 1,458. We are a Second Class City.

The following is a list of key personnel for the city.
Mayor Porter
In 2007, Howard was appointed by the City Council to the Mayor position. He is currently working on several plans and improvements for the city. He is retired from the US Army and owns a business in town.

 
Joel Woolf, Recorder/Treasurer
Joel has held this position for over eight years. He lives in town and owns a local business.

 
The City Council consists of six Aldermen. They are:

 Richard Tiago Ward 2 Position 1
 Brian Hill Ward 2 Position 2
 Bill Wright Ward 3 Position 1
 Latham Campbell Ward 3 Position 2

City Council meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and you are always invited to attend.

 
The Police Department consists of four personnel. They are:
